Kick off summer 2023 with a BANG! It was a long winter, and a long time of isolation during the pandemic. The Semilla Center is holding a celebration of life in our Southside neighborhood, and a chance to plant beauty in the community. Come and make art that can become Semillas or Seeds of Hope! Learn how to make lanterns for a procession this fall on Lake Street!

More details to come. There will be professional artists teaching various arts. Live music by local musicians, spoken word artists and an open mic. Great local food. It’s all free and family friendly. From 4-7 pm on Sunday, June 25; followed immediately by an outdoor puppet show by Open Eye Theatre.
